      <image:title>The Gonstead Method - Step 1: Visualization</image:title>
      <image:caption>Visualization starts from the moment a patient walks through the door. Even the most subtle alterations to gait, posture, and range of motion can indicate the presence of vertebral subluxation.</image:caption>
    </image:image>
    <image:image>
      <image:loc>https://images.squarespace-cdn.com/content/v1/60328fbc4da2f359a62e5c62/1618161582350-616BERUE0HTN9GN0PG9U/Scope.jpg</image:loc>
      <image:title>The Gonstead Method - Step 2: Instrumentation</image:title>
      <image:caption>Vertebral subluxation can be objectively measured. Heat is a primary indicator, which is one of the cardinal signs of inflammation. Skin temperature differentials are analyzed via the Nervo-Scope, the instrument of choice in the Gonstead method.</image:caption>
    </image:image>

      <image:title>The Gonstead Method - Step 3: Static Palpation</image:title>
      <image:caption>During this hands-on part of the examination, the spine and its surrounding tissues are lightly felt for swelling, tenderness, and changes in contour, tone, and texture. These physical manifestations are further indicators of vertebral subluxation.</image:caption>
    </image:image>

      <image:title>The Gonstead Method - Step 4: Motion Palpation</image:title>
      <image:caption>The doctor gently motions any potentially subluxated vertebrae to feel for restrictions. This helps the doctor determine the direction in which the bone has subluxated and how best to achieve ideal correction.</image:caption>

      <image:title>The Gonstead Method - Step 5: X-Ray Analysis</image:title>
      <image:caption>Full spine x-rays are essential to the Gonstead method as they allow for a comprehensive structural analysis down to the millimeter. All films are taken in the standing, weight-bearing position and capture each patient’s unique presentation.</image:caption>
